Duutop Acoustic, is a young emerging freelance singer-songwriter and afro fusion musician from Bagamoyo, Tanzania, currently living in Cologne, Germany.
At the tender age of 12 he started learning traditional music at Mtema Lugodi cultural
group under chief music Mzee Digalu 1998–2000.
In Tanzania Duutop Acoustic played at Tasuba Bagamoyo Festival, Karibu Festival Bagamoyo, Marafiki Festival Dar es Salaam and his music was played at Tanzania Safari TV Channel.
In Germany, he has performed at the 'Mitafrika Festival' Cologne 2018, at the 'Afrika Tage' Düsseldorf 2016, in the Clubs 'Lichtung' and 'Barinton Köln'2017 and in the JER production "nature is speaking" in the Lehmbruck Museum in Duisburg2019. He was the Winner of „Kunst gegen Bares“ Artist Competition in Cologne 2017.
In 2019 his music was also broadcasted on 'Cosmo Radio' WDR Cologne an dhe was accepted as a musician to the International Summer Camp at Popacademy Mannheim, Germany.

Duutop Acoustic style brings a unique fusion of Tanzanian music and elements of music from other parts of Africa. His songs are dealing with issues in society and politics.
The music is a mixture of traditional African music and modern sounds. His lyrics are in his mother tongue Kiswahili and deal with love, peace, street children, grievances in his
home country and worldwide. With his music he wants to awaken politicians and people to remind them that we are all equal and should live together in a world of peace. "Kulu Kulu Africa - wake up Africa" is his message and the title of his upcoming album.
Duutop Acoustic ist ein junger aufstrebender Musiker aus Bagamoyo, Tansania, wohnhaft in Köln, Deutschland.
Geboren wurde er 1987 und ist seit seiner frühen Kindheit fasziniert vom Musizieren.
Traditionelle Musik und Tanz lernt er unter der Leitung von Mzee Digalu in der Gruppe Mtema Lugodi von 1998 -2000.
Seine eigene Musik schreibt er unter dem Namen Duutop Acoustic und sie ist eine Mischung aus traditioneller Afrikanischer Musik und modernen Klängen. Seine Texte handeln von Liebe, Frieden und Missständen in seinem Heimatland sowie auf der ganzen Welt.
Seine Botschaft ist Kulu Kulu Africa. Was bedeutet, wache auf Afrika.
Er möchte durch seine Musik die Politiker, sowie die Menschen im Zusammenleben aufwecken und daran erinnern, dass wir alle gleich sind und zusammen auf einer Welt friedlich leben sollten.
Er spielte Konzerte auf dem Mitafrika Festival Köln, den Afrika Tagen Düsseldorf, in der Lichtung und im Barrington Köln. Im Cosmo Radio war seine Musik 2019 zuhören.
Internationale Auftritte in der Ivory Coast, in Kenya und in den Niederlanden sowie Ungarn erweiterten seinen künstlerischen Horizont.
